Sometimes, you need to check on yourself. We’re all busy. Life’s happening. And sometimes we go, without stopping and fail to check in. We go through the motions until we realize we need something but just don’t know what. Ask yourself these questions to see where you are.
It’s just you and God so be honest.
Questions:
How are you? How’s life?
What do you need?
How can you get what you want and/or need?
How’s your heart? Has it healed? Was a new wound reopened? Is it whole? Are you whole?
What do you believe in? God? Buddha? Love? People?
Who or what keeps you going? Family? Work? Money?
What’s your why? Success? Money? Family?
When was the last time you prayed or meditated? Is it time to slow down?
What was your last self care activity? What does self care mean to you? What does it look like for you?
Have you unplugged lately? We’re too connected. You could probably use some time to not know what’s happening in the world or with your friends. What would happen if you turned all of your app notifications? What would happen if you went a solid hour or two without looking at your phone or any screen?
When was the last time you laughed until you cried? Until it hurt so bad and you couldn’t breathe?
When was the last time you cried? You probably need to cry.
Are you happy? If not, what can you do to make yourself happy? Remember the quote from last week. Your happiness requires work.
Are you growing?
Have you forgiven yourself? Have you forgiven him or her or them?
What sustains you? What keeps you going?
What stops you? What slows you down?
Take what you need and leave the rest.
Until next week…
