What if it’s Your Waiting Season?

What if it’s Your Waiting Season?

What if you gotta wait?

So check it.

Boom.

You’ve been putting work

Being obedient to your calling. Serving people. Praying. Sometimes fasting.

Studying and understanding the word so much that you actually apply it to your life.

But God says “nah, you gotta wait. Not yet.” You’re on hold.

So you wait.

Are you ready to wait?

There’s no time frame. You don’t know how long you’ll be waiting. All you know is that God isn’t moving.

But you’re pretty sure this is what God told you to do.

What do you do when your ego tells you to move on because you feel stuck? (You’re actually planted.)

But God says don’t get weary while doing…

What will happen to your faith? Will it waiver? Is it strong enough to withstand the wait? What’s your patience like when it’s tested because you will be tested? Are you paying attention to those tests? What’s you pass/fail rate?

Are YOU ready to wait?

Will you give God the glory anyway? (He’s going to get it regardless but are you ready to let Him prepare you?)

Will you praise anyway? Remain steadfast and obedient to the call? Hasn’t God already done enough? That was what we sing every Sunday but do you mean it? Are you ready to find out?

Are you ready to face the fact that the blessing is in your sowing, not the reaping? In the journey and not the destination.

How crazy are you willing to look for Jesus?

Sometimes we expect things when we do, we expect our actions to yield a reward, a blessing. Even if it’s not immediate, we think eventually our diligent or sometime-y work will yield blessings. Persistence against resistance.

But scripture states that the reward is in heaven which is why we shouldn’t grow weary with our earthly duties.

We often lose sight of the fact that God blesses because that’s His character and not because of anything we do.

So when you’re following your high calling and propelling the Kingdom forward, blessings are coming regardless. But they seem better than before because you’re now in alignment with The Most High. You finally got in line. God’s been there waiting for you.

Sometimes there isn’t a huge and drastic change in your life but subtle advancements making it all worthwhile. Small changes that have been monumental blessings.

Peace of mind. Health. Strength. Financial stability. Mental stability.

What will your attitude be like when God blesses you how He wants and not based on your limited perspective?

It’s time we let go and let God. We can’t plan the outcome, anyway.

Jeremiah 29:11

As always, take what you need and leave the rest.

Wow! Really needed this. “Small changes that have been monumental blessings.” Im definitely in my waiting season. I think sometimes it gets hard because we tend to want all of our rewards on earth and right now. Like God owes us. But in actuality, we owe Him. I’m so thankful that my faith is getting stronger while I wait.

Amen! There’s so much to be learned while you wait and it’s best that we realize that so we don’t miss out. Thanks for reading!
